Wicked at Chrysler Hall
WICKED the musical is back in Norfolk until the 26th. The untold story of the witches of Oz has been called a “cultural phenomenon” and has broke box office records in Washington, DC, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Toronto in the past.
WICKED begins performances today, March 7th, at 8:00pm at Chrysler Hall. Two and a half hours before every show a lottery for orchestra seats will be held at the box office. You have to show up with a valid id. Names will be placed in a lottery and will be drawn a half hour after for $25 orchestra seats.

Norfolk Grand Illumination Parade
The 2011 Grand Illumination Parade is this Saturday, November 19th. The parade starts at 7:00pm on Main Street, but there are plenty of activities for the whole family to enjoy throughout the day. From MacArthur on Ice (opens at 10 am) and the holiday gift shop/ face painting at the D’Art Center, there is something for everyone to enjoy! July 4th in Hampton Roads
There are two outstanding fireworks displays to see this weekend. The first show is at Ocean View Beach Park tonight, July 1st from 6pm-10pm. There will be a fireworks display as well as music food and other fun!
The second celebration takes place Monday, July 4th from 5pm-10pm at Town Point Park and willalso include music, food & other fun with the fireworks display later that night.

10th Annual Virginia Beer Festival

The warm weather is hear to stay and it is officially “Festival Season”. This weekend at Town Point Park get out and enjoy the area and some local libations from local Virginia breweries. Bayou Boogaloo
The 21st annual Bayou Boogaloo is this weekend at Norfolk’s Town Point Park. There will be 15 full-menu vendors from New Orleans as well as 3 stages with about 15 musical acts. The even starts Friday, June 25th- Sunday, June 27th. For additional details visit
